Bannister is a "poetic" painter of young female figures in various
media. She often includes women, lacy clothing, and spring flowers in
her creations. An avid sewer, she pays attention to detail in the
clothing she paints. When she gets an idea, she sees it in her head as a
finished color painting.
Since childhood, Bannister knew she
wanted to be an artist. At age thirteen, she illustrated books, and by
age seventeen, was creating artwork for films. She attended the Slade
Academy of Fine Arts in London. Bannister has been published by New
Masters Publishing Company.
