    J.W. Thrasher Born 1940 Texas Artist

    J. W.'s paintings reflect his extensive knowledge of wildlife.  He has been a professional artist since 1962.  His paintings have been featured as covers on magazines such as Ducks Unlimited, National Wild Turkey Federation, Texas Outdoors Journal, Independent Cattlemen, and Safari Club.  He was selected Texas Ducks Unlimited Artist of the Year, South Carolina Ducks Unlimited Artist of the Year, and featured artist at the National Wildlife Art Show.

    His paintings have received numerous awards at art shows, and conservation organizations continually choose his limited edition prints to sponsor their fund raisers.  His original paintings and limited edition prints are avidly sought by art lovers and collectors world wide.

    J. W. says, ''The entire natural world is a masterpiece of creation.  As an artist my aim is to accurately put on canvas the details and beauty that nature provides.  To me, God given talent is a rich blessing and I thank Him for it.''
