Maria de los Angeles Morales
Maria Morales lives in suburban Philadelphia. She graduated from two schools in the state: Penn Hall Junior College, where she studied art, and Immaculata University, where she concentrated in Spanish and Latin American literature and culture.
Through Marie's work, we can feel her sincere interest in people, especially her love and respect for the dignity and heritage of Indians of North and South America and the Caribbean. Many of her works portray the love and bond between mother and child.
Her art reflects her extensive travels, especially to the American Southwest, Caribbean, and Latin America.
Maria's media include gouache, tempera, oil, watercolor, pastel, and pencil. She also creates sculptures, and her mentor has been noted sculptress S. Trinita Marie Amorosi, IHM.
She has designed posters for art exhibits, and her work has also been used in calendars. Maria also designed the faceted glass windows for St. Norbert Church,
