ANTIQUE HANDMADE TEXAS FURNITURE Circa 1840s-1890s
Texas has a rich heritage when it comes to handmade Texas Furniture. It was a necessity prior to the railroads crisscrossing the country.
The majority of the makers were German immigrants. Many were farmers and a few were professional cabinet makers.
