LESLIE
R. CENTER, JR., 76, passed away on November 21, 2009. He was born
November 10, 1933, in Houston, to Leslie and Katheryn Lee Center.Leslie
was a graduate of Mirabeau B. Lamar High School and earned a degree in
architecture from Rice University in 1955. He found his calling as an
adjunct professor of drafting at Houston Community College.Leslie was a
member of Houston's Episcopal Church of the Epiphany, where he sang in
the choir and served on the vestry. His many passions included art,
photography and classical music.
