I printed this myself about 20 years ago from the original negative at the Fredericksburg, Texas Radio Post newspaper. Gene had visited town around 1940 as he did with hundreds of small towns and is evident by the image, everyone came out to see him. He has his hand on the shoulder of Mr. Knoche, the owner of the theater. -
